1 RCE Description 91 Change / Safety Evaluation 4-HCM-86-0338A This DCP provided a locking pin to maintain the Undervessel Platform in the storage position. This DCP did not ; create a new safety hazard to the plant nor did it affect the safe shutdown of the reactor. It did not change the plant effluent releases and did not alter the existing environmental impact.

Therefore, no unreviewed safety or environmental questions are involved.

Safety Eyn1gatisn Description of Temporary Modification Esquest ITMR) 86-0003 The Temporary Modification Request (TMR) associated with this Safety Evaluation ,

added a temporary hose to route effluent from an oil interceptor to an emergency sump. This TMR will reduce the number of barrels being used to collect turbine building oil waste. Adding the hose did not create a new safety hazard to the plant nor did it affect the safe shutdown of the reactor. It did not change the plant effluent releases and did not alter the existing environmental impact.

Therefore, no unreviewed safety or environmental questions are involved.

H-1-SPXX-CSE-0482 The Temporary Modification Request (TMR) associated with this Safety Evaluation installed a 2 millirem / hour source on two detectors in the Off-gas Radiation Monitoring System. The source was required to keep the detector operable until background radiation levels increased. The temporary installation of these sources did not create a new safety hazard to the plant nor did it affect the safe shutdown of the reactor. This TMR did not change the plant effluent releases and did not alter the existing environmental impact. Therefore, no unreviewed safety or environmental questions are involved.

H-1-GSXX-MSE-0495 The Temporary Modification Request (TMR) associated with this Safety Evaluation installed blind flanges as required to support leak rate testing. The leak rate testing dealt with drywell purge valves, suppression chamber purge valves, and nitrogen supply valves. The temporary installation of the flanges did not create a new safety hazard to the plant nor did it affect the safe shutdown of the reactor. This TMR did not change the plant effluent releases and did not alter the existing environmental impact.

Therefore, no unreviewed safety or environmental questions are involved.
