Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-317/87-15; 50-318/87-17
A routine safety inspection of solid radioactive waste processing, prepara-
tion, packaging and shipping activities was conducted by Mr. H. Bicehouse of
this office on July 13-17, 1987 at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1
and 2.
Our findings were discussed with Mr. N. Mi'.lis and others of your
staff at the conclusion of the inspection on July 17, 1987.
The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
combined Inspection report which is enclosed with this letter.
Within these
areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel and observations by the
inspector.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were ider.-
tified.
