- INSERVICE INSPECTION RELIEF REQUEST (TAC NO. 65855)
Sy letter dated July 23, 1987, Portland General Electric Company requested relief from the four-hour pressure hold time requirement of the 1974 Edition of Section XI of the ASME Code during the performance of the hydrostatic test of repaired feedwater lines at Trojan Nuclear Plant.
We have reviewed the request and supporting information. Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55a(a)(3)(1), we conclude that the proposed alternative will provide an acceptable level of quality and safety, and thus the relief may be granted as requested. Our Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
