By memo dated June 23, 1983,.LRC submitted for'information a decommissioning plan for Building A of the Lynchburg Research. Center. The objective of the work was to obtain release of Building A from control of the SNM-778 license.

Since that time LRC has completed-the work described in the plan and has completed the final radiation survey.
The results of the survey are attached and I hereby request,' based on these survey results, that Building A be unconditionally released from~the'SNM-778 license.
The facility is available for your inspection, if such action is necessary.
