This refers to the routine resident safety inspection by Messrs. J. Beall and
S. Pindale on October 10 - November 20, 1987 at the Beaver . Valley Power
Station, Unit

Shippingport, Pennsylvania.
The inspection consisted of
document reviews, interviews and observation of operations and startup test

activities. The findings were discussed with Mr. Sieber and others of your
staff.
