Gentlemen:
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Messrs. P. M. Byron
and D. C. Kosloff of this office on October 1 through November 15, 1987, of
activities at Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station authorized by Facility
Operating License No. NPF-3 and to the discussion of our findings with
Mr. L. Storz at the conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
d
interviews with personnel.
