REQUEST FOR HOURLY METEOROLOGICAL DATA TAPE AND UPDATED EVACUATION TIMEESTIMATES.(ETE),GRANDGULFNUCLEARSTATION(GGNS), UNIT 1 (TAC N0. 66783)
The NRC staff is performing an evaluation of offsite dose consequences for the plants selected for study in NUREG-1150, " Reactor Risk Reference Document,"
including GGNS, Unit 1.
In order to complete its evaluation for GGNS, Unit 1, the staff needs the most recent study containing evacuation time estimates for the area around the site and an annual cycle of onsite meteorological data.
The meteorological data should be in accordance with Standard Review Plan (SRP) Section 2.3.3, and the data format should be an hourly meteorological data tape having the characteristics of Appendix A to SRP Section 2.3.3.
In order to support our review schedule you are requested to provide the above information by January 11, 1988. This request was discussed with Mr. Matt Crawford on December 8, 1987.
The report and/or recordkeeping requirements of this letter affect fewer than 10 respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not required under P. L.96-511.
