ACCEPTANCE REVIEW OF WESFLEX TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM APPLICATION (TAC NO. L22647) 1
Dear Mr. Quinn:
.On May 29,1998, Westinghouse Electric Corporation submitted an application requesting i approval of the WESFLEX Transportation System under the provisions of 10 CFR Part 71. This L application was supplemented on June 8,12, and 19,1998. During our August 5,1998, l
meeting, you informed us that Westinghouse plans to submit moro supplements to the application.- In light of this information, we have deferred our acceptance review until we receive the full and complete application. We will determine the review schedule after we complete the acceptance review.
Your transportation application was accompanied by a request that certain information be t withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790. On August 10,1998, we denied your request to withhold from public disclosure certain information in your WESFLEX Storage System application (TAC No. L22575). The specific information that was determined to be non-l proprietary is identified in the enclosures to the August 10,1998, letter. Be advised that if l similar information is contained in the transportation application, the staff is likely to consider that information non-proprietary also.
