of this office on September 14-17, and 21-23, 1987 at Three Mile Island Unit 1,
Middletown, Pennsylvania. Mr. Chaudhary discussed the findings of the
inspection with Mr. C. W. Smyth of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
