Schedule for Completion of Response to NRC Generic Letter 87-12 As stated in Reference 3, OPPD is providing a schedule for the completion of our response to Items 5 and 9 of NRC Generic Letter 87-12.
OPPD is negotiating with Combustion Engineering to perform a series of plant spec-ific analyses of the postulated loss of RHR scenarios.
These analyses will help determine how Fort Calhoun's Reactor Coolant System will respond to a loss of RHR event and provide information that will be of assistance in determining the appro-priate actions to be taken to prevent or mitigate the consequences of such an event.
It is anticipated that this effort will be completed by February 5, 1988.
Upon receipt of the information identified above, OPPD will be able to provide a complete response to Items 5 and 9 of Reference 2 by March 15, 1988.
