SUBJECT:
NRC INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT 50-302/98-06
Dear Mr. Cowan:
On June 20, 1998, the NRC completed an inspection at your Crystal River 3
reactor facility. The enclosed report presents the results of that
inspection.
During the six-week period covered by this inspection period, your conduct of
activities at your Crystal River facility was generally characterized as
satisfactory and no violations were noted.
The enclosed Inspection Report also closes several open items as further
examples of activities that violated NRC requirements that will not be subject
to enforcement action.
Enforcement Action 97-565 in Inspection Re) ort
50-302/97-21 previously dispositioned the enforcement aspects of t1ese items
because the licensee's efforts in identifying and correcting the violation met
the criteria specified in Section VII.B. of the Enforcement Policy.

Therefore, no response with respect to these matters is required.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of
this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room
(PDR).
