L. Prividy on May 28 - July 10, 1987, at.-the Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2,

Shippingport, Pennsylvania.- The inspection consisted of document reviews, inter-
views and observation of construction and preoperational test activities.
The
findings were discussed with Mr. T. Noonan and others of your staff.
Areas. examined during this inspection are' described in the NRC Region I Inspection
Report which is enclosed with this letter.
Within these areas, the inspection.
consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, in-
-terviews..with personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no' violations were identified.
