We have received a copy of your. application dated June 29,'1987,~which was filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) for review. This application requested approval of the proposed design for a temperature monitoring system in the RBS Ultimate Heat Sink at the River Bend Station Unit No. 1.

The fee required pursuant to 10 CFR 170 was not remitted with your application. Therefore, it' is requested that your Company remit the application fee of $150 for your June 29 request.

Your Company will be billed for any additional costs for the review of your application in accordance with 10 CFR 170.12(c) and 170.21.
