operation, and ' associated requests.for relief from Lcertain ASME Code inspection requirements, pursuant 'to 10.CFR 50.55(g)(5). ' We have. completed our review of these submittals and conclude that'your program plan, with the'ex~eption of c

those requests for which relief has been denied, is. acceptable and in compliance with10CFR'50.55a(g).

The enclosed Safety (TER) prepared by our' contractor, Idaho National Engineering Evaluation (SE), incitading the attached Technical 1 Evaluation Report Laboratory (INEL), provides the basis for this conclusion. Table 1 oflthe. SE summarizes the evaluation and disposition of:each relief request. ' Note that the staff concurs with all' evaluations and recommendations contained in the-INEL TER with the exception of reactor vessel, examination: category B-A:

welds. The procedure for examination of these welds.is currently ~under review by the staff.
