1.0 Puroose 1-l This procedure establishes the requirements and responsibilities for this preparation, review and approval of all calculations prepared by PED.

This procedure adopts and modifies existing GSE procedures A-ll and B-9 as interim procedures to be followed-while a unique PED procedure is developed.

2.0 References 2.1 GSE Administrative Procedure A-ll, Revision 5/88 2.2 GSE Design Procedure B-9, Revision 3/87 3.0 Responsibilities The responsibilities as delineated in the above noted procedures apply as written..

All references to GSE & GSE pos-ition titles should be interpreted as meaning PED and the corresponding PED position title.

4.0 General Requirements - Not Applicable q.

,rg 5.0 Instructions All PED calculations shall meet the requirements of existing GSE Procedures A-11 and B-9 as referenced above with the following modifications:

5.1 Reference to Form B-2-2 in Paragraph 2.4 of Procedure B-9 should be modified to reference Form A-11-1.

5.2 Calculations prepared to support modification design packages are to receive an independent design verification inconjunction with the design package utilizing PED QP-ll.

Calculations prepared as part of a study can receive an independent design verification utilizing a modified MOR in accordance with PED QP-11.
