-SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - DELAY IN CONTAINMENTSPRAYINITIATION(TACNOS.64411and64412)
The enclosed SER was prepared by the Reactor Operations Branch in response to Technical Assistance Request. TAC Nos. 64411 and 64412, regarding a proposed increse in delay time from 58 seconds to 208 seconds for containment spray initiation. Our review is based on the licensee's submittal dated December 19, 1986. Our review also resolves the concern raised by the Plant Systems Branch of NRR in their memorandum dated July 13, 1987.
We have concluded that the licensee's proposed change to the containment spray initiation time is acceptable.
