As part of the NRC Confirmatory lieasurements Program, liquid samples spiked l with radionuclides will be sent to the Brunswick and Robinson facilities for radiochemical analyses. These san.ples are to be analyzed for tritium, strontium-89, strontium-90, and iron-55 in accordance with your approved procedures for analysis of liquid waste saniples. If routine analyses of this type are nonilally performed by a vencor, this vendor should be used to analyze the spiked samples. The spiked samples, with instructions, will be sent under separate cover f rom the Department of Energy's Radiological and Environmental Sciences Laboratory within approximately thirty days. ,

l We request that the analyses be completed as soon as practicable, but no later  !

than 60 days from receipt of the samnles. Results should be sent to:
