SUMMARY
Month: June, 1987 Catawba Unit 2 began the month at 100% power. On 6/03 at 1005, the unit reduced power to 49% due to Cold Leg Accumulator Boron Conce.ntration problems. The power increase was then held up at 91% to conduct a Control Valve Movement Test.
The unit returned to 100% power at 2040 on 6/02. On 6/14 at 1845, the unit 1
reduced power to 94% due to Quadrant Power Tilt Ratio problems. The unit 4
returned to 100% at 1010 on 6/15. On 6/16 at'1150, the unit reduced power to i
99% power to perform Main Steam Pressure Channel Testing. The unit then i
returned to 100% power where it operated for the remainder of the month,'with the enception of two dispatcher reductions, one on 6/28 and one on 6/29.
