COMBINED REQUALIFICATION AND REPLACEMENT EXAMINATION REPORT
NO 50-410/87-18 (OL)
On July
7-9,
1987,
the NRC administered requalification examinations to
employees of your company who operate the Nine Mile Point 2 Nuclear Station.
At the conclusion of the examination, the generic findings that evolved as a
result of the examination were discussed with those members of your staff
identified in the enclosed report.
The NRC requested a written report stating the corrective actions taken as a

result of the deficiencies identified by the NRC examiners during the

operating examinations.

No overall requalification program evaluation will be issued at this time.
This report contains interim program results. A final program evaluation will
be issued following the next set of requalification examinations.

The NRC also administered a replacement examination to one employee of your
company who had applied for a license to operate the Nine Mile 2 Point Nuclear

Station.
]
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this
letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
