BEAVER VALLEY UNIT 2 - 0FFSITE DOSE CALCULATION MANUAL, ODCM (TAC 63996) l By letter dated June 9, 1987, you formally submitted the ODCM. Before that submittal..you provided the draft ODCM for staff review in early 1986.

We have completed review of the ODCM and found it acceptable except for the two concerns given below which need resolution:

(1) The note on page 2-8 (regarding noble gas nuclides) should be deleted as agreed to by your staff, and (2) Pages 2-21 and 2-22 should be revised to require the use of short-term X/Q values in calculating doses from any containment purge where the value of the T factor (addressed on pages 2-8 and 2-9) is greater than 1.

We request your response to these two issues within 90 days of receipt of this letter.

The recordkeeping/ reporting requirements of this request affect fewer than ten respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not required under P.L.96-511.
