DISCUSSION Technical. Specifications Section 3.8.2.$,
Table 3,8-1, specifies the trip point for the Containment Penetration Conductor Overcurrent Protective Devices. Included in this list are the Steam Generator Support Haaters which were removed in June 07, 1984, by Amendment 40 to the Technical Specification.
This change will remove the support heatars from the list.
In addition, the " System Pcwered (Mark No.)" for "Devico Number and Location (Breaker No.)",
2Cl-1A2L, is shown as ' " 2 -DA-P- 01B" whereas it should be "2-DG-P-01B". This is a typographical error.
BASIS FOR NO SIGNIFICANT llAZARDS DETERM1 NATION The proposed to correct the typographical error does not involve a significant
' hazards consideration because it is only a correction of an error and therefore is similar to 48FR14870, " Examples of Amendments That Are Not Likely To Involve Significant Hazards Considerations Are Listed Below", Example (1)
"A purely administrative change to technical sp3cifications: for example, a change to achieve consistency throughout the technical specifications, correction of an error, or a change in nomenclature."
The proposed deletion of the Steam Generator Support Heaters does not involve a significant hazarde consideration because operation of North Anna Unit 2 in accordance with this change would not:
(1) involve a significant increase in the probability or consequence of an accident previously evaluated, or (2) create the possibility of a new or different kind of accident from any accident previously identified, or (3) involve a significant reduction in a margin of safety because, this change only deletes the Overcurrent Protective Device Settings for the Steam Generator Support Heaters which were previously removed. This removal was approved by the NRC via license amendment 40, dated June 07, 1984.
Therefore, pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92, based on the above consideration, it has been determined that this change does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
