This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. W. Lazarus and

another inspector of this office on August 19-21', 1987, of activities

authorized by NRC Construction Permit No. CPPR-135 and License No. NPF-56, and

to the discussion of our findings, presented by Mr. Lazarus to Mr. D. Moody

and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I

Inspection Report which is enclosed. Within these areas, the inspection

consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative records,

interviews with personnel and observations of the inspectors.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified and no

response to this letter is necessary.
