VENDOR-INTERFACE FOR REACTOR TRIP SYSTEM COMPONENTS, GENERIC LETTER 83-28,-ITEM 2.1 (PART 2) (TAC N0. 52839) The Commission has completed its review of Item 2.1 (Part 2) of Generic Letter No. 83-28, Required Actions Based. on Generic' Implications of the Salem ATWS Events, based on the additional information provided in the submittal dated September 1, 1987. The. staff has determined, as documented in the enclosed Safety Evaluation, that your responses for this item are acceptable. We, therefore, consider Item 2.1 (Part 2) of Generic Letter 83-28 to be closed by this action. Additionally, with the previous closure of Part 1.as stated in our letter dated May 10, 1988, all actions with regards to. Item 2.1 for the Fort Calhoun Station are now closed.
