J. Partlow T. Stetka, RII This is to confirm my conversation with your licensing staff concerning the Vendor Inspection Branch (VIB) inspection at Crystal River Unit 3 on October 5-9, 1987.
The inspection will include a revicw of your inaintenance, inservice testing and inspection programs for check valves, and your response to INP0's SOER 86-03 concerning check valves. For a selected sample of valves the inspectors will review inspection and test results and maintenance history.
Your cooperation concerning this matter will be appreciated.
