NRC Examination at Sen Onofre Nuciear Generating Station Unit 1 l
On December 14, 1987, the NRC administered an examination to an employee l
of your company who had applied for a license to operate your SONGS Unit 1 l
facility.
As a result of this examination, the Reactor Operator candidate was found to meet the minimum qualification requirements for licensing.
At the conclusion of the examination on December 14, 1987, the examination process and preliminary findings were discussed with Mr. Kirby of your staff as detailed in the enclosed report.
Your staff was provided copies of the written examination at the conclusion of the examination. We have instructed your staff that comments on written examinations, to be considered for resolution of the answer key, must be provided to the examiner no later than five working days after the examination has been administered.
No comments were received prior to that date. The-examination was therefore graded without benefit of those comments.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and enclosure (1) and (2) will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
Enclosure (3) is Personal Privacy Information and will be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 9.5(a)(6).
