.. Georgia Power Company (GPC) hereby submits the revised Inservice Inspection and Testing. (ISI/IST) Program for Plant Hatch Units 1 and 2.
The previous ISI/IST program update was ' submitted to the NRC by letter dated June 25, 1985 and was prepared.in accordance with the 1980 Edition of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section XI-with Addcnda through Hinter 1981.
The enclosed revised program also meets,
)
where practical, the requirements of the the same Section XI Edition and Addenda.
In addition, this submittal considers NRC comments (received by letter dated November 7,1985) rahtive to GPC's Jurie 25, 1985 letter and additional information contained in the GPC letter to the NRC dated February 7, 1986.
A summary of the key changes made in the Enclosure 2 submittal is contained in Enclosure 1.
Georgia Power Company requests that the NRC grant the relief requests included in the enclosed ISI/IST program document for Plant Hatch Units 1 and E in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55a(g)(6).
Relief requested does not affect public health and safety.
Ten (10) copies of the updated ISI/IST program document for Hatch Units 1 and 2 are provided for your review and approval.
Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 170, GPC encloses a check for the application fee of $150.00 for the review of the ISI/IST program document.
