NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-327/87-49 AND 50-328/87-49

This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection conducted

by W. M. Sartor and other NRC inspectors to evaluate your actions during the

emergency exercise at your Sequoyah facility on August 4-6,

1987.

At the

conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed' with those members

of your staff identified in the enc?osed inspection report.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identi-

fied. Your onsite emergency response actions for this exercise were considered

adequate to provide protective measures for the health and safety of the

public.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,

Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosure

will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
