REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION MILLSTONE UNIT NO. 2 EXTENSION OF FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE 1.
The annual collective occupational dose at Millstone 2 has exceeded the average annual collective dose for PWRs in six of its eleven years of operation.
For each of these years (1978,1980,1982,1983,1985, and 1986), briefly describe the plant activities performed which contributed to these high annual doses. Also describe any future expected major l
i maintenance work to be performed at Millstone 2.
In light of the fact that the annual collective dose at Millstone 2 has exceeded the average annual dose for PWRs in four of the last five years, describe how you plan to lower your annual collective doses in upcoming years.
2.
Describe any future planned expansion of onsite spent fuel storage capacity (such as rod consolidation or dry storage) at Millstone 2 3.
Address occupational exposure for the additional years of reactor i
operation.
