PROPOSED TASK INTERFACE AGREEMENT (TIA) REGARDING THE REVIEW OF GPU's SEPTEMBER 22,1999, RESPONSE TO THE NRC's LETTER OF SEPTEMBER 2,1999 IAC NO. MA5644)

Your assistance is requested in determining'whether the information sent by GPU, Inc., meets the criteria set forth in _10 CFR Part 20 Subpart E for the release of the property to be sold by GPU and whether the licensee's proposed actions are acceptable for unrestricted use.

' Support NRR in the October 20,1999, meeting open to the public with the licensee and the State of New Jersey at the site.

l During your review, if you deem it necessary that additional information is needed to complete i your review, please inform Helen N. Pastis, the Oyster Creek Senior Project Manager. Ms.

Pastis is the NRR point of contact and can be reached at (301) 415-1261. Please indicate in

your request the regulatory basis and why you need this information to complete your review.

This TIA'should be completed by October 15,1999. This short tumaround time is requested l- because of the licensee's plans to release the land for unrestricted use in the near future.
