Report of Meeting with SCE Management
This refers to a meeting held with you, Mr. H. B. Ray, and other members of
SCE management at the San Onofre site in San Clemente, California, on May 28,
1987.
The subjects discussed are summarized in the Meeting Report which is
enclosed herewith for your information.
The discussion primarily centered on a review of current San Onofre
performance indicators and evaluation of the causes and corrective actions
associated with several recent licensee event reports.
We found our meeting to be beneficial.
Good communication between SCE and the
NRC is fundamental to our understanding of how you approach and resolve plant
problems.
We look forward to future discussions in this regard.
