Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/395 Operating License No. NPF-12 Licensed Operator Disability Notification i
Gentlemen:
In accordance with 10CFR50.74 the following report is being submitted to document a licensed operator disability.
Mr. Jerry R. Shepp, License Number S0P-4196-2, incurred a fractured right fibula in non-work related activities on June 12, 1987. Mr. Shepp has been removed from licensed operator on-shift duties and has been assigned administrative duties during his convalescence. Mr. Shepp will return to his regular licensed operator shift responsibilities upon receiving a recommendation from his physician that he is medically qualified to resume his duties. At that time the Commission will be notified and a copy of the physican's recommendation will be kept on file to document Mr. Shepp's medical status relative to the above stated disability.
It is currently expected that Mr. Shepp will be released by his physician to return to his regular duties by the end of the first week of July,.1987.-
