CLINTON POWER STATION -WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR LICENSE AMENDMENT AND EXEMPTION FROM REQUIREMENTS OF 10 CFR PART 50 APPENDIX A, GENERAL DESIGN CRITERION 17 (TAC NOS. M99248 AND M99249)
Dear Mr. Sipek:
By letter dated July 22,1997, you applied for a temporary, partial exemption from 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix A, General Design Criterion (GDC) 17, _" Electric Power Systems," and amendment n
to Operating License No.- NPF-62.. The proposed change would have permitted plant operation with one fully qualified offsite circuit and one circuit that did not strictly conform to the capacity and capability requirements of GDC-17. Subsequently, by letter dated September 30, 1997, you withdrew the requests.
