Dear Mr. Wilgus:
i This will confirm our request to members of your staff to support the performance of a maintenance survey by NRC staff at Crystal River Unit 3 during the week of November 3, 1986. This survey is part of an effort to identify those character-istics of effective maintenance practices and activities which contribute to the quality of maintenance programs. The information collected will be for future regulatory programs with regard to maintenance and surveillance practices at licensed facilities.
Enclosed is a copy of the tentative agenda for the survey and a marked-up chart of your maintenance organization indicating the positions and number of people the team will wish to interview.
Your staff has indicated that arrangements to accommodate this effort will be made, including badging for unescorted access to non-vital areas for the following team members:
