This acknowledges the receipt of your letter dated July 16, 1986, by which you transmitted Revision 8A to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS),
Units 1, 2, and 3, Physical Security Plan, dated August 1983.
We find the changes submitted by the subject letter to be consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50.54(p). Accordingly, they are acceptable for inclusion into the plan except for references to revisions 10 and 11 on the list of effectjve pages. Those revisions have not yet been reviewed for acceptability.
The attachments to your letter are being withheld from public disclosure because they contain Safeguards Information and must be protected in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 73.21.
