SUBJECT:
TRIP REPORT - SHEARON HARRIS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT (SHNPP)-
On' August 25-29, 1986, the undersigned and one NRC consultant were at the SHNPP site to conduct an assessment of technical allegations received by Region II regarding cable tray support design. The results.of the assessment are discussed in the attached trip report.
In sumary, the assessment found that one allegation concerning a connection detail used on cable tray supports was substantiated. The other technical allegations in the areas of cable tray support design-were not substantiated.
