Horgan (SONGS Station Manager), Docket Nos.- 50-206, 50-361 and 50-362 The Reference documents the NRC-V 10 CFR 50.54(p) review of Revision 9 and 9A to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) Physical Security Plan.
Page x to this Plan (an attachment to the enclosure) provides a chronology of the current NRC review status for each revision to this Plan (Revisions 0 through 11).
This letter responds to the one portion of Revision 9, which was not acceptable as indicated in the enclosure to the Reference. This letter also addresses another Revision 9 change, which was not addressed in the Reference, but discussed between Mr. A. McQueen, NRC-Region V Safeguards Inspector, and Mr. R. Beatty, SONGS Security Compliance, during September 1986. This Plan revision has been numbered "10B" per bk. McQueen's request.
Accordingly, enclosed are six (6) copies of the description of the Revision 10B textual changes, which document the additional Revision 9 changes.
The revised changes described in the enclosure and its attachment do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of this Plan.
The enclosure and its attachments contain " Safeguards Information" and must be protected against unauthorized disclosure as prescribed in 10 CFR 73.21.
