SUMMARY
- HATCH UNITS 1 AND 2 - DOCKET NOS. 50-321 AND 50-366 This letter refers to the meeting conducted at your request in the NRC Region II Office on November 13, 1986. This meeting was related to the application of Fire Protection,10 CFR 50 Appendix R, and the forthcoming Appendix R inspection at Hatch Units 1 and 2.
Enclosed is a sumary of the meeting topics.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial, and provided for a better understanding of NRC's Appendix R Fire Protection inspection methodology and Georgia Power Company's (GPC) Appendix R analysis and design approach.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of NRC's " Rules of Practice", Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
