This refers to the Byron Station Security Improvement Program submitted to this office by letter dated January 29, 1986 (K. A. Ainger to J. G. Keppler).
The objectives of this program, as stated in the referenced letter, were to improve compliance with access control requirements regarding physical security and to prevent degradation of vital and protected area barriers caused by noncompliance with security procedures. Our review of this program in 1986 showed that the specific actions in each of the three areas of concern have been completed. Your efforts have resulted in the attainment of the stated goals. We consider that this program is completed. We strongly support the continuation of your ongoing security awareness and training programs.
