This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. A. Cerne and other

inspectors of this office on March 10 - May 4,1987 of activities authorized by

NRC Construction Permit No. CPPR-135 and License No. NPF-56 and to the discussions

of our findings held by Mr. Cerne with Mr. D. Moody and others of your staff at

the conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspection

Report which is enclosed with this letter.

Within these areas, the inspection

consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, in-

terviews with personnel, and observations by the inspectors.

This also refers to your letter dated April 23, 1987 in response to our letter

dated March 23, 1987, transmitting a Notice of Violation for your further review

and action.

Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions

documented in your letter.

These actions will be fully examined as part of a

future NRC inspection of that subject area.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
