NOTICS OF DEPOSITION Pursuant to 10 CFR 32.720, the Citizens Association for Sound Energy (CASS) notices Snannon Phillips for deposition one day arter tne deposition of Cliff Hale. The deposition will take place in Dallas, Texas, at the otrices of Frederick Baron &
Associates, Suite 1400, Dallas Federal Savings Building, 8333 Douglas Avenue, Dallas 75225.
The attached motion discusses the application of 10 CFR 332.720 and 2.744 to tnis request.
Shannon Pnillips is tne Senior Resident Inspector at the Comanche Peak nuclear power plant.
He participated in the Technical Review Team inspection of the plant and authored some of tne uA/QC issues contained in SSSR fil.

Phillips has continueo in his position as Senior Resident Inspector and has Deen tne principal author of inspection reports regarding the aullity or tne site management to adequately comply with the CPRT commitments and to effect reform at the site in the QA/QC programs as a result of the TRT findings.

4 Resident Inspector qualifies him as having direct personal knowleoge as to material f acts that are tne subject of the issues now ripe for consideration.
Mr. Pnillips will be deposed on his personal knowledge of the statr's review, audit, and analysis of the Comanche Peak Response Team (CPRT) as reported in inspection reports, the starf's August 9 and September 30, 1985, comments and questions, SSER f1J, and other knowleage of the deponent not availaDie publicly through inspection reports or discovery.
