The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 50 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-21 and Amendment No. 42 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-65 for the Millstone Nuclear Power Station Unit Nos. I and 2.
The amendments consist of changes to the Appendix B Technical Specifications in response to your application dated February 13, 1978.
The amendments authorize changes to the common Appendix B Technical Specifications that will limit the off-gas release rate of radioactive gases in process to assure that the off-site doses resulting from postulated accident issociated with operation of the Steam Dilution Augmented Off-gas System will not exceed established criteria.
Copies of our Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
