SUBJECT:

ACRS COMMENTS ON SECY-85-381, " INSIDER SAFEGUARDS RULES" During its 309th ACRS meeting, January 9-11, 1986, the ACRS discussed, but was unable to complete, its consideration of proposed revisions to NRC rules regarding prevention of sabotage by insiders (see SECY-85-381). The members did agree that the Committee should complete its review and provide comments regarding these proposed rule changes during its 310th meeting on February 13-15, 1986. The members requested that the Commission be informed of anticipated ACRS action regarding this matter before taking action on this rule. I expect Committee comments to be available by February 20, 1986.
