Dear Mr. Denton:
Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) submits six copies of Revision 4 (page changes) to the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant (SHNPP) Security Plan. This revision to the SHNPP Security Plan provides our final response to the revision to 10 CFR 73.55 as published in the Federal Register on Monday August 4,1986. A partial response to the Final Rule was provided by the referenced letter. The revisions are noted by sidebars in the columns of the affected pages. CP&L will implement these changes within 60 days after receipt of approval from the NRC.
The attached copies of the changes to the SHNPP Security Plan contain information which has been determined to be Safeguards Information and should be protected in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 73.21.
