BBoyer IBailley The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.97 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-36 for the Maine Yankee Atomic Power Station. This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications (TS) in response to your application dated October 16, 1985.
This amendment changes Technical Specification 3.6 which pertains to the requirement for emergency diesel generator testing in the event that any component of one train of the emergency core cooling system (ECCS) becomes inoperable. This amendment to the Technical Specification deletes that requirement.
A copy of the Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Comission's next regular bi-weekly Federal Register notice.
