L' HYDROLOGIC ENGINEERING ACCEPTANCE P.EVIEU QUESTIONS WPPSS NO. 2 DOCKET NO. 50-397 1.
Provide a legible map showing the location of groundwater users in (2.4) the site area. The map should be keyed to tabics showing the amounts and types of usage.
2.
Provide the basis for your conclusion that construction withdrawals (2.4) of groundwater will affect only local groundwater flow patterns.
What is the' extent of these effects?
3.
Provide additional information regarding site area soils and forma-(2.4) tions, including estimates of permeability and porosity.
4 Provide a summary of mean and extreme values of groundwater quality (2.4) parameters in the site area, in both the confined and unconfined aquifers. This information is apparently available, as discussed in Section 6.1.2.
5.
Provide a map showing (in plan) the discharge location of the cooling (3.4) tower blowdown line.
6.
Discuss the effect of the spray ponds on expected groundwater levels (5.6) in the site area. In addition, where loss of irrigable land takes place, discuss the effects of the loss of recharge on groundwater levels.

7.
Provide additional information regarding wells in the area which (6.1.2) have been and will continue to be nonitored. Of particular interest are the well locations, parameters reasured, and frequency of sampling.
