This refers to the ins)ection conducted by Mr. J. B. Baird of this office
during the period Octo)er 27-31, 1986, of activities authorized by NRC
Operating License DPR-34 for the Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Generating Station, and

to the discussion of our findings with you and other members of your staff at
the conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during the inspection included changes to the emergency
preparedness program and audits.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted
of selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews
with personnel,in the enclosed inspection report.
