Dear Mr. Klein On May 7, 1985, your Mr. E. J. Bartolucci visited Commonwealth Edison Company's Braidwood Station to review a number of cable installations in which the cable bending radius criteria had been violated.
A summary of the review was attached to Mr. J. J.
Bojan's May 13, 1985 letter to Mr. Bartolucci.
Mr. J. S. Lasky's June 5, 1985 letter to Mr. T. Eisenbart provided a relaxed cable i
bending radius criteria for those cases reviewed by Mr. Bartolucci.
One of the cases reviewed by Mr. Bartolucci was cable lVP002 which is a three conductor 500McM 600V cable which had a bend radius violation at the motor termination.
Subsequent to Mr. Bartolucci's visit, cable lVP004 which is a three conductor 500McM 600V cable, was identified as having a similar bending radius violation.
Boch cables are terminated in the same motor termination box.
There is no visible wrinkling of the jacket and no apparent visible distortion.
Please confirm that the relaxed bending radius criteria contained in Mr. Lasky's June 5, 1985 letter can be applied to cable lVP004.
