This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Peter C. Wen of this
office on April 6-17,
1987, of activities authorized by NRC License No.
CPPR-105- at the Beaver Valley Unit 2, Shippingport, Pennsylvania and to the
discu'ssions of our findings held by Mr. P. Wen with Mr. T. P. Noonan at the
conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, inte: views with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
