-during'the period' April'6-10, 1987, of activities authorized by NRC Construction

Permits CPPR-128-and CPPR-129 for the South Texas Project, and_to the discussion-

of our findings'with you and other members of your staff-at the conclusion of

the inspection.

= Areas examined during t_he i_nspection inclu'ded the implementation of-the emergency

plan and procedures'during the annual emergency response exercise. Within

these areas,1the inspection consisted of selective examination'of procedures

and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the

NRC inspectors.

The inspection findings.are documented in the enclosed inspection

report.
