REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION LICENSE EXTENSION FOR CRYSTAL RIVER, UNIT 3 1.
ALARA MEASURES Discuss specific ALARA measures which will be utilized during the seven additional years of service.
2.
DOSE ASSESSMENT Provide a table showing the expected doses to personnel for the years 2003 to 2016. These should include decontamination, decommissioning, main-tenance and related doses. Provide a discussion which confirms that your ALARA Program will maintain the state-of-the-art for reducing personnel exposures to the minimum. To assist the staff in evaluating the adequacy of your dose assessment process, provide a table showing personnel ex-posure experience for the years 1978 through 1985 indicating the person-rem exposures by plant areas regardless of how these exposures were obtained (e.g., during normal operations, maintenance, repair or refueling activities) and by whom (e.g., by) plant operations / maintenance personnel, contracto vendor personnel, etc.
